Judgement develops in plurality

We learn to judge by encountering perspectives other than our own. Plurality means more than bringing different voices into the same room. It means creating the conditions for people to appear before one another through speech and action: to articulate a position, hear how others see things, and discover what they themselves think in the process.

The future cannot be fully predicted or prescribed. The question, then, is not how we prepare people for every possible situation, but how we cultivate the judgement to respond.

ethixCube is a participatory ethics experience that puts people inside difficult decisions rather than giving them the answers.

Participants confront real-world dilemmas, make an initial judgement, encounter opposing perspectives, question their assumptions and decide whether to reconsider their position.

The result is a different kind of ethics learning: one built around dialogue, disagreement and reflection, where ethical judgement is practised rather than simply taught.
